Environmental Policy

The Citizen Group has been promoting global environmental management towards the realization of a sustainable civil society. In December 2019, we revised the "Citizen Group Environmental Policy," which serves as the foundation for the group's environmental initiatives. Additionally, in April 2020, we revised the "Citizen Group Environmental Vision 2050" to commit to decarbonization by achieving net-zero CO2 emissions and the sustainable use of resources, while also formulating the new "Citizen Group Resource Circulation Vision" and reviewing the "Citizen Group Environmental Goals 2030." Based on these visions and goals, we will continue to advance our enhanced environmental initiatives.

The Citizen Group contributes to a sustainable civil society where people can live with enriched hearts and peace of mind, through business activities that take into consideration the global community and the earth's environment, based on our corporate philosophy of "being loved by citizens and contributing to citizens."

Environmental Action Guidelines

Citizen Systems sets environmental goals in line with the following environmental policy, and collaborates with our business partners, including suppliers and procurement parties, to implement environmental due diligence and strive for continuous improvement of our management system. This environmental policy will be made public and notified to all employees and those we work with.

1. We will work to reduce the environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle of our products and services, promoting "eco-friendly manufacturing" through the development and provision of environmentally considerate products, and strive for the preservation of the global environment.

2. We will comply with environmental laws, regulations, ordinances, agreements, and other requirements.

3. We will promote the reduction of greenhouse gases and energy conservation in our business activities, aimed at mitigating climate change and adapting to it.

4. We will strive for the sustainable use of resources, including resource conservation, waste reduction, and the preservation of water resources.

5. We will enhance the management of chemical substances contained in our products and at our business sites, and work to prevent pollution.

6. Through participation in environmental conservation activities and the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems in local communities, we will deepen our communication with society and aim for greater harmony.

7. We will enhance employees' environmental awareness through environmental education and awareness activities, actively disclose information regarding our environmental initiatives, and fulfill our accountability to society.
